Newspaper Nail Art

Hi Lovelies, Newspaper Nail Art has been seen for a while now & I've noticed lots of people use something called rubbing alcohol to damp the newspaper but I thought I'd try it out using a different method.

What You Will Need:

5 Strips of newspaper to fit each nail, Plus a Cotton Wool pad with nail varnish remover on...

...And also a nail varnish of your choice. I'm using China Glaze Dance Baby.

Step 1:
Paint 2 coats of your desired nail colour onto your nails & leave to fully dry.

Step 2:
Take your newspaper cutting & place downwards onto the cotton wool pad that also has nail varnish remover on so it starts to get damp.

Step 3:
Place the newspaper cutting onto your nail & gently press down for a few seconds.

Step 4:
Remove newspaper cutting from nail, Repeat on other nails & finish off with your choice of top coat.

Then you are done !!

This look took me less that 20 Minutes to do, Plus I think it helps using a China Glaze nail varnish as they dry so quick.

What do you think of this look?

Thanks for Reading.

How To:

COMING SOON: YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Review

Hi Lovelies, If like me your a fan of the famous & fabulous YSL Touche Eclat, You will be delighted to know YSL is bringing to You the Excellence of Touch Eclat in Foundation form.

Most YSL stands in Department stores are offering a 7-Day complimentary trial of the foundation before it's Launch on the 9th July 2012.

Seeing this in my local department store I had to try it out, as Touche Eclat is such a fabulous beauty must have and I could just imagine the foundation giving you a gorgeous, luminous, fresh faced finish!

I had the sample in shade BR50 which is a gorgeous Beige tone with a slight hint of rose.

It is also available in 22 different shades which is such a wide range so that you can get the perfect shade for your skin tone.

I applied the Foundation with My foundation brush and it glided onto the skin like silk.
It's not a full coverage but more of a light/medium coverage but it is buildable if you did want to create more of a full coverage finish.
I normally only wear full coverage foundations as I have quite an uneven skin tone & a few freckles that I like to minimise; But this foundation after only one layer giving me a light/medium coverage gave me gorgeous fresh glowing skin that still showed a few of my freckles but helped to even out my complexion and without using any concealer under my eyes it also banished 2 dark little patches I have underneath them.

Feeling Fresh Faced!

This foundation left my skin feeling super soft, natural looking & also lasted all day without turning patchy.

I really would love this foundation for the summer months as it would look stunning for a natural glowing fresh look.

I'm not 100% sure on the RRP but I think it's around £28, which is an excellent price for this YSL Product.

I will be purchasing this product & really can't wait for the launch.

If you'd love to try out this product I highly recommend trying out a sample at your YSL stand in your local department store.

Have you tested out your sample yet? Do you love the touche eclat highlighter?

NOTD: Blue & Gold Glitter Nails

Hi Lovelies

Yesterday I Painted My nails with a new nail varnish from Sally's & added a little glitter to give them a little bit of bling!

For This Look I Used:

Nina Ultra Pro in Blu Blaze from Sally's & Models Own Hed Kandi Disco Heaven.

I love the Bright blue with a hint of teal colour that the Nina ultra pro nail varnish has, but be warned, I've found with this nail varnish that you need a good 3 coats to get a good full even coverage & it also dries matt with a chalk like texture; which can sound rather off-putting but once you apply your gloss top coat it looks perfect.

I finished the nails off by adding 2 coats of Models Own Hed Kandi Disco Heaven at an angle to my thumb & ring finger, just to add a little something to my nails as I don't do one plain colour!

So that's my NOTD.

What nails are you wearing Today? Any new nail varnishes out there you think I should try?

Thanks for Reading

Hair Trade I&K Hair Extensions Review PLUS New Dip Dye/Ombre Hair

Hi Lovelies.

Last week I received some Hair Extensions from, I was long overdue some new hair extensions and this time I opt'd for some 22" ones as I have worn 18" for many years now.

I received the I&K Clip in Straight Hair in 20 Dark Blonde in 22" length.
I chose a blonde colour as I wear a dip dye/ombre look on my hair and I achieve this by colouring my extensions my own hair colour from the top to the midlengths and leave the natural hair extension colour out on the ends.

About the Hair Extensions.

  • Materials: Selected 100% Human hair, medium metal clips
  • Grade: A
  • Weight: 110g exclude the weight of 18 clips for 14 and 16 inch; 120g for 18; 130g for 22 inch
  • Structure: 10 clip in pieces with 18 clips + 2 test pieces without clips
  • Full Length: Actual length is 2 inch longer. For example: full length is 20 inch for 18 inch hair
  • There is enough hair here to enhance the whole head. As it is made of 100% Human hair, it can be cut, coloured, straighten, curled everything that you do with your own hair can be done with these extensions.

  • Excuse the picture quality of the Hair Extension photo's was hard to capture true colour!

These Hair Extensions are of excellent quality & the clips are just the perfect size, as any bigger they would be too heavy & any smaller they wouldn't hold on to your hair.

These hair extensions in 22" length retail for £72.99 which is a fab price for the quality; also the delivery was fab too, they were delivered in a huge long box which also means they wont get damaged during shipping either.

I had to trim a couple of inches off the length as they do come an extra 2 inches longer, and being 24" in total was a little too long for me!

There is just enough hair in the pack too as before when I received some hair extensions on the internet they were very fine & I could have done with a few more strips to bulk it up a little and not look so fake, but in these extensions their is enough for a full head and to make it look as natural as possible.

    Dip dye/Ombre Look.

On my extensions I did the Dip-dye/Ombre look which I have put a video on Youtube on how to achieve this look! Remember to subscribe & Like :)

Overall I really do love these extensions out of all the extensions I have tried over the years, they are a fantastic buy for the money and are genuine 100% Human Hair which you have to watch out for lately as some extensions 'claim' they are 100% Human Hair when actually they are only 80% Human and 20% Synthetic, which wont last you as long and are personally a waste of money.

Thankyou for Reading I hope you find this review helpful, Anymore questions please ask and also if you do wish to buy some of these extensions but are a little unsure, if you contact Hair Trade via their website I'm sure they will be happy to help you out.

    Have a fab Day.

Dirty Works Good Clean Fun !!! Coconut Caress Products

    Hi Lovelies,

The weather in England is now dull and rainy but you can change that by getting these yummy products into your life that will get you dreaming of sipping Pina Coladas on the beach !

Coconut Caress Body Wash: This is a Luxurious creamy body wash that leaves your skin feeling super soft and smelling gorgeous for the rest of the day.
I normally shower of a morning and their is nothing better than washing yourself with something that smells so devine; It really does kick start your day!
This is priced for an amazing £2.99. I normally spend around the £2 mark for a body wash but they don't normally smell as fab as this, and the smell really lasts on your skin.

Coconut Caress Body Butter: All I can say about this product is O M G !! Not only does it really nourish and make your skin super soft but again with the yummy coconut smell you can smell this under your nose all day; and I really do mean all day !
I apply this at around 8am and still at 6pm I can smell it on my skin, and in this horrible rainy weather it really does brighten up your day.
I've also been using this product in my tanning regime and because it's so moisturising it helps maintain your tan plus eliminates any biscuit smell you might still have from your fake tan!
This is priced at a bargain of £4.99 for 300ml but have an offer on at the moment for £2.44 which is even better!!

All of the dirty works Products are available from and are also available from Selected Sainsburys in the UK and also on the Sainsburys Website.

In this range they also do a Coconut Caresse Body Scrub which I think I need to purchase to make this fab duo complete.

Have any of You tried any of the Dirty Works range?

    Thanks for Reading

    Have a fab Friday.
